A link to a spreadsheet listing the lords of the year, month, day, and hour can be found at the following link: I welcome any feedback. Chapter One covers the introduction to the work that includes the aim of the work, the five schools of astronomy, contents of the work, days from an astronomical epoch per the Romaka and Pauliśa Siddhantas, yugas of the sun and moon per the Romaka and Saura Siddhanta, the Lord of the Year, Month, Day, and Hour, and the names of the 30 days of the Parsi months. My translation includes an outline of the major concepts for each chapter, a word for word translation from Sanskrit to English with parts of speech annotations. The other chapters will be added as I complete them. There are a total of 18 chapters in the Pañcasiddhāntikā. The text is a compilation of five astronomical texts known to Varāhamihira: the Pauliśa, Romaka, Vāsistha, Saura, and Paitāmaha Siddhāntas. This translation contains Chapter One of the Pañcasiddhāntikā, a famous East Indian astrology text by Varāhamihira (circa 6th century).
